Our Historical Projects

South Carolina's World War II Arsenal

This project will lift the profile of World War II related military sites in our state, preserve and promote for a better public understanding of this part of our patriotic past.

Dr. Cyril O. Spann Medical Office restoration

This World War II veteran was also a surgeon who traveled the state to help Black patients during the period of segregated medical services. His office, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019, is in the process of restoration.
